Chris Jericho Defends the WWE - 2009 Women's Championship



Wwe Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho be set to defend his title at last night's SmackDown/ECW live event in Hershey, PA against Rey Mysterio and several readers noted that when he came out, it appeared as if he was trying to hide the title also wasn't wearing it like usual.

Jericho was actually carrying the WWE Women's Championship belt near the ring with him. The belt had some electrical tape covering parts of it to hide which belt it was. The word going around with some of the wrestlers is that Jericho forgot to pack the Intercontinental Championship with him as he left it in his hotel room when he left for the arena.

There be no heat from WWE officials on Jericho for leaving the belt behind but it did get him some ribbing from other wrestlers on the show.
